Malaysian Parliament Delegation Meets Legislative Council to Discuss Strategic Cooperation
Bandar Seri Begawan: A Malaysian Parliament delegation held an official meeting with the Members of the Legislative Council at the Dewan Majlis Building. The meeting aimed to discuss issues of common concern and strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Malaysian delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Chiew Choon Man, Member of Parliament for Miri, and Yang Berhormat Lee Chean Chung, Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya, along with officers from the Malaysian Parliament Secretariat. The Legislative Council was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman.
The discussions focused on various important issues, including efforts to build strategic cooperation that would impact different stakeholders. Both parties expressed a desire for the close relationship between Malaysia and the host country to continue to strengthen, supporting progress and mutual prosperity.
