Bandar Seri Begawan: The Lowering of the Brunei Darussalam Giant-Sized Flag was held on 25th February afternoon, to mark the end of national flag hoisting nationwide in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 41st National Day Celebration. The ceremony took place at the open area of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan.
According to Radio Television Brunei, present was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The lowering of the giant flag was carried out by the Royal Brunei Navy and Royal Brunei Armed Force Cadets; Royal Brunei Police Force Cadets; Fire and Rescue Cadets as well as National Service Program Alumni. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.
