Bandar Seri Begawan: The Supreme Court received a visit from The Right Honourable Lord Patrick Stewart Hodge, Deputy President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, who is in the country for a 5-day Working Visit, 25th February 2025.
According to Radio Television Brunei, during the visit, the Deputy President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom delivered a keynote lecture on the Impact of the Supreme Court on the Wider Economy. Earlier, Yang Amat Arif Dato Seri Paduka Steven Chong, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam in his welcoming remarks highlighted that the relationship between the two judiciaries has strengthened significantly. Also in attendance was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Paduka Dayang Hajah Nor Hashimah binti Haji Mohammed Taib, Attorney General.
