Post: Library in Belait District Hosts Activities to Engage Children During School Holidays

BELAIT DISTRICT: The Language and Literature Bureau library in the Belait District has organized a range of activities aimed at engaging children during the end-of-term school holidays. These activities are designed to provide educational and recreational opportunities for young participants. According to Radio Television Brunei, the library's initiatives include traditional games open to children aged 10 and above. These games are part of an effort to familiarize the younger generation with cultural practices and ensure that such traditions remain alive and relevant. Additionally, the Kampung Pandan Library hosted a 'riang ria' literacy activity, which attracted children between the ages of 4 and 12, focusing on encouraging reading and literary skills. These initiatives are part of the library's broader efforts to provide meaningful and constructive activities for children during their break from school, fostering both cultural awareness and literacy among the youth.
