Leadership Executive Programme

In the pursuit to deliver Wawasan Brunei 2035, there will be many inevitable challenges along the way. According to the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, the COVID-19 pandemic had deeply the whole world where global supply chains were disrupted, economic activities were constrained and movement of people across borders were restricted. However, as the world is slowly recovering from the pandemic, there is currently global inflation, in particular food inflation.

In times like these, strong leaders who are tactful and strategic are needed in taking the appropriate measures to deal with issues as they arise. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah stressed the matter in a keynote address at the launching of the Ministry of Finance and Economy Leadership Executive Programme, MOFE-LEP yesterday morning.

The programme which was a joint collaboration with Singapore's Temasek Foundation and Civil Service College acts as a platform for capability development and holistic leadership competencies strategy by adapting action learning mainly for Strategic Planning and Implementation. The programme will be conducted over several months, including several workshops on Strategic Planning of Public Sectors Projects and Study Visit programme to Singapore. Also held was an Executive Symposium on Leadership and Public Service Transformation.
