Launching of Fill Safe, Feel Safe Campaign
The Fill Safe, Feel Safe campaign is effective in the relationship between the public and private sectors based on the sharing of national strategic elements that enable people to move towards improving behaviour by being prudent consumers. Speaking at the Launching Ceremony of the Fill Safe, Feel Safe Campaign, the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications emphasised that such integrated efforts are highly encouraged and proven to be effective and have a positive impact on every industry. The ceremony took place at a shopping centre in Kampung Salambigar, 30th October morning. Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha said that national statistics have recorded a decrease in the number of incidents at fuel stations nationwide since the establishment of the campaign with the key performance indicator, KPI of BSM in carrying out the task of providing awareness and warning.
The Minister added that in one of the foci for capacity building of all workers is also b
est practices in early intervention. Yang Berhormat also understood that one of the significant improvements is that the station immediately reports incidents that occur at the fuel station to BSM. This is important not only in fuel stations, but also in any sector.
The Fill Safe, Feel Safe Campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the safety of fuel stations. With continuous commitment, BSM strengthens the safety standard in ensuring safe refuelling for the public.
