The establishment of the Executive Development Programme EDP course is a reflection of the strong investment by the Ministry of Defence in a programme in the form of capacity development. The matter was stated during the launching of the 18th Executive Development Programme, EDP on Public Policy and Management for senior government officials, 24th July afternoon.
Pengiran Dr Haji Mohd Esa Al-Islam Bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Yunus, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence said EDP is established towards achieving a professional and high quality workforce. The programme which began on 24th July until the 27th of October is joined by 30 participants and conducted by the Ministry of Defence. The programme takes place at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies in Bolkiah Garrison.
