Belait: Highlighting culture, heritage, and identity of the local community, is the purpose of the Bedudun Festival Version Two. The festival organised by the Kampong Perumahan Negara Lumut Kawasan 1, 2 and 3 Consultative Council, Mukim Liang took place at the Liang Lumut Recreation Club, Belait District, 8th May afternoon.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the five-day festival was officiated by Dayang Hajah Nur Fariza Munyati binti Haji Abdul Aji, Acting Deputy Director of Tourism, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Various activities are held including folk competition, exhibitions, and cultural performances. Apart from being a platform to attract local and foreign visitors, such initiatives support the local economy and strengthen domestic tourism.
