Post: Land Office Payment Counters to Operate Half Day on December 31

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Land Office payment counters across all districts will operate for half a day tomorrow, December 31, due to the bank's year-end closing. The temporary change in schedule aims to accommodate necessary financial transactions before the new year. According to Radio Television Brunei, the payment counters will be accessible from 8 to 11 in the morning, while the Service Counters will maintain their usual operating hours from 8 to 11 in the morning and from 1:45 to 3 in the afternoon. All counters will remain closed during the public holiday and are scheduled to resume operations on January 2, 2025. Registered landowners are encouraged to ensure their annual land tax payments are up to date. Payments can be conveniently processed online via BIBD Online Banking. Cheque payments will only be accepted in the morning, and payments for Temporary Occupation License land must be made at the payment counter.
