Laguna Bettor Wins P70 Million in Lotto 6/42 Draw
CABUYAO CITY, LAGUNA—A lone bettor from Laguna province won the PHP70 million jackpot in Saturday night’s Lotto 6/42 draw, hitting the winning combination of 40-11-25-07-27-30.
According to Philippines News Agency, the winning ticket was purchased in Cabuyao City. The PCSO announced on Sunday that the prize, amounting to PHP70,440,258.20, can be claimed at their main office in Mandaluyong City. The winner must present the winning ticket along with two identification cards and has a year to claim the jackpot.
Lotto winnings over PHP10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax as mandated by the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law. In addition to the jackpot winner, the PCSO reported that 82 other bettors won PHP24,000 each for matching five numbers, 3,607 individuals won PHP800 each for four correct digits, and 49,146 participants will receive PHP20 each for matching three numbers.
The 6/42 Lotto draws are conducted three times a week—every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The PCSO encourages the public to continue participating in the games, as the majority of the revenue generated supports the government’s charity programs.
