Berakas: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab. Rahaman, attended the first quarter-final of the Malaysia Cup 2025/2026. The match, held at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, saw DPMM FC face off against Kuching City FC on the night of February 7th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the royal couple was accompanied by their children, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman, and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa' Raihaanul Bolkiah. Upon their arrival, they were welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
During the match, DPMM FC was defeated by Kuching City FC with a scoreline of 1-3. This result sets up a challenging second leg for DPMM FC, who will face Kuching City FC again on February 14th at Negeri Sarawak Stadium.
