Berakas: Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman attended the Premier Talk of the Knowledge Convention 2025. The event, part of His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration, was held on the morning of September 30th at the International Convention Centre. Among the attendees were His Majesty’s daughter and sisters: Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah binti Adam; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Her Royal Highness was welcomed by the Co-Chairpersons of the Steering Committee for the Knowledge Convention 2025 and their spouses, alongside members of the Knowledge Convention 2025 Premier Talk Working Committee. The event commenced with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Datin Doctor Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub, a Senior Religious Education Officer.
Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh emphasized the benefits of charity as a means of spiritual purification in her welcoming address. A special talk titled “Wanita dan Sedekah, Jangan Pernah Berpisah” was delivered by Pengiran Doctor Hajah Norkhairiah binti Pengiran Haji Hashim, Director of the Halalan Thayibban Research Centre at UNISSA, which focused on the inseparable nature of women and charity.
The event concluded with Doa Selamat, read by Datin Doctor Hajah Rohanita. The Knowledge Convention Exhibition 2025 further highlighted charity as a fundamental principle for the nation’s well-being.
