Tutong: The Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents in the Tutong District in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration is scheduled for 4th October Saturday. The event will feature a Royal Art Stage Performance, blending Heritage Art and National Culture performances. A full rehearsal took place on 30th September morning at the Tutong District Civic Centre Complex field in Tutong Town to ensure the event proceeds smoothly.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Chief of the Adat Istiadat Negara, attended the rehearsal. Other attendees included Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. This year’s performance will carry the theme ‘Raja Bijaksana Sumber Inspirasi Rakyat’.
