Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony Highlights Generosity at Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam

Bandar Seri Begawan: Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam held a Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony and donation presentation at the centre’s surau in Kampung Bengkurong on the morning of March 25th. The event was organized in conjunction with the Nuzul Al-Qur’an Celebration and was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony included the presentation of donations to 47 recipients, comprising orphans, underprivileged children, and single mothers. The contributions were bolstered by the involvement of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, with His Excellency Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, personally presenting the donations.
