Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony Held for National Service Trainees in Temburong

Temburong District – The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, in collaboration with the Manpower Planning and Employment Council, Prime Minister’s Office, and the Institute of Brunei Technical Education, Ministry of Education, organized a Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony for Cohort 4 and 5 of the Personality Development Programme trainees.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Youth and Sports, the ceremony took place at the National Service Programme, PKBN Training Camp in Temburong District. The event was led by Awang Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, Permanent Secretary for Youth at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

A total of 236 trainees participated in the ceremony, which included the reading of Khatam Al-Qur’an and Doa Khatam, followed by a presentation of certificates. This ceremony forms a crucial part of the training curriculum, aimed at enhancing the spiritual and religious principles of the trainees throughout the programme.
