Kesyukuran Ceremony Marks Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen Day

Kampung mulaut: In conjunction with Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen Day, celebrated annually on November 1st, the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism organized a special Kesyukuran ceremony. The event included mass Sunat Hajat and Fardhu Asar prayers, the reading of Surah Yassin, Tahlil, and Doa Kesyukuran. It was held at the Pengiran Muda Abdul Mateen Mosque on the afternoon of November 1st. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Rantaian Nilai Kukuh, Sekuriti Makanan Terjamin’, focusing on strong value chains and food security.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The celebration serves as a tribute to the efforts and contributions of farmers, livestock breeders, and fishermen, acknowledging their crucial role as food producers in the country.
