Kampung tanah jambu: The Kampung Tanah Jambu Mosque Takmir Committee organized a Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony to mark the completion of the recitation of 30 juzuk of the Al-Qur’an. The ceremony served as a gesture of gratitude and aimed to enhance the appreciation of Al-Qur’an among the mosque’s congregants and the local community.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event featured the reading of lazim verses, the Doa Khatam Al-Qur’an, Doa Selamat, and ‘Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam’. Participants of the Khatam also performed Dikir Marhaban. The ceremony is seen as an opportunity to strengthen the role of mosques as centers of worship, knowledge, and community unity.
