Jerudong Park Medical Centre and Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre Commemorate World Patient Safety Day.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The World Patient Safety Day highlighted the dedication of Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and ensuring the safety of every patient. The celebration occurred at PJSC on the afternoon of November 6th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was inaugurated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Chairman of JPMC and PJSC, and Executive Director of JPMC. The event featured the launch of educational videos and leaflets focused on home testing devices, aiming for the long-term sustainability of self-monitoring efforts among patients. This year’s theme, ‘Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety’, along with the slogan ‘Get it right, Get it safe!’, underscored the essential role of effective communication and collaboration among healthcare providers in preventing diagnostic errors.
