Post: Iranian Ambassador Discusses Syariah Legislation in Brunei During Courtesy Visit.

Bandar Seri Begawan: Experiences on Syariah legislation and judiciary were among the matters discussed during a Courtesy Visit by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam to the Syariah Courts, State Judiciary Department, Prime Minister's Office. The Courtesy Visit was held at Supreme Court and Syariah Courts in Bandar Seri Begawan. According to Radio Television Brunei, during the Courtesy Visit, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar, the Chief Syar'ie Judge, and His Excellency Mohammad Taghi Rajabi exchanged views and experiences related to legislation and judiciary. Both parties also exchanged souvenirs as a sign of good relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
