Post: International Conference on Applied Psychology and Pedagogy Aims to Enhance Teaching Skills

Berakas: The International Conference on Applied Psychology and Pedagogy, ICAPP 2025, is set to enhance teachers’ skills in psychology and pedagogy, as highlighted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs, during the opening ceremony on the morning of June 16th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the minister expressed hopes that the conference will enable teachers in Brunei Darussalam to effectively apply psychological and pedagogical practices and integrate this knowledge into their educational careers.

The event featured a premier paper presentation titled “Kembali Imarahkan Roh, Jiwa dan Nilai Pendidikan Guru ASEAN” by Associate Professor Dr. Ridzuan bin Che Rus, the Academic and International Director of Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia. The presentation addressed industrial education 5.0, the education revolution, and the development of teachers’ human skills. The conference, themed ‘Pendidikan Guru Berteraskan Psikologi dan Pedagogi Abad ke-21,’ is scheduled to run for two days at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.
