60 underprivileged families in the Brunei Muara District, Tutong District and Belait District received special donations through the Infaq Kasih Ramadhan Project. The project was carried out by the Ministry of Energy as well as Departments and Statutory Bodies under it.
The presentation of aid was officiated by Awang Haji Azhar bin Haji Yahya, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and his Deputy, Pengiran Haji Jamra Weira bin Pengiran Haji Petra. The donation in the form of basic daily food necessities is aimed to help ease the burden of the recipients during Ramadhan as well as preparation for celebrating Eid. The contributions were collected from the officers and staff of the Ministry of Energy, Departments and Statutory Bodies under it.
