Bandar Seri Begawan: His Excellency Dato Laila Utama Probowo Subianto, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, and his delegation have left the country after completing a state visit on the afternoon of May 14th. The President's departure marks the conclusion of an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Brunei.
According to Radio Television Brunei, several dignitaries were present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to the Indonesian President. Among those in attendance were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs, serving as Minister-In-Attendance; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development. The Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the Acting Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force were also present. His Excellency Dr. Achmad Ubaedillah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam, was among those who attended the farewell ceremony.
