Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam - The Department of Immigration and National Registration has issued a reminder to employers in Brunei Darussalam following 'Operasi Sakat 159/2023'. The operation was carried out by the Law Enforcement Division in the Mukim Berakas and Mukim Gadong Business Premises.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the operation aimed to ensure that employees' passports remain valid and that they work in their authorized positions. During 'Operasi Sakat', four foreign nationals were arrested for allegedly abusing social visit passes. They were taken to the Law Enforcement Division for further investigation.
