His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei Receives Warm Welcome in Peru.

Lima: The Welcoming Ceremony for the state visit of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam took place at the Government Palace in Lima, Peru. Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Her Excellency Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, President of the Republic of Peru. The event marked an important moment in strengthening bilateral relations between Brunei and Peru.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty was introduced to the Peruvian cabinet officials, who expressed their readiness to enhance cooperation between the two nations. Following this, Brunei Darussalam’s delegation was presented to President Boluarte. The ceremony included a Guard of Honour inspection conducted by members of the Peruvian Armed Forces, symbolizing the respect and recognition between the two countries.

The event also featured the playing of the national anthems of both Brunei Darussalam and Peru, highlighting the significance of this diplomatic engagement. The visit is expected to foster closer ties an
