His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei Departs from Lima Following APEC Retreat.

LIMA: Following the APEC Economic Leaders’ Retreat, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam departed from Lima, Republic of Peru. Before leaving, a Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti. The farewell at Jorge Chávez International Airport was attended by His Excellency Gustavo Lino Adrianzén, the President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Peru.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Serbini bin Haji Ali, who is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the United States of America and the Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Peru, was also present at the airport to bid farewell.
