The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and its departments organised the Hijrah New Year 1444 celebration yesterday morning at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas.
In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The ceremony included a special talk titled 'Belia Menangani Hijrah Rasulullah', Dikir Marhaban and Doa Selamat to welcome the return of the ministry's haj pilgrims.
A similar ceremony was also held by the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. Present was Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications as the representative of the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. A special talk titled 'Memahami Erti Hijrah' was held, and the event coincided with a celebration to welcome the return of the ministry's haj pilgrims.
