Grassroots Life Saver 995 Programme Launched in Temburong District

Temburong: The Temburong District has initiated the Grassroots Life Saver 995 programme, aiming to instil preparedness in handling emergencies such as fires and other dangers. The programme was officially launched at the Operation ‘G’ Rataie Fire Station in the Temburong District on the morning of July 30th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch event featured a presentation of fire hose equipment by Awang Azmi bin Haji Hafneh, the Acting Director of Fire and Rescue. The programme saw the participation of 14 individuals, including penghulu mukim and village chiefs. Participants engaged in firefighting demonstrations and received practical training to enhance their readiness in emergency situations.
