Bandar Seri Begawan – The Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam's Share Learn Grow International Programme marked a significant contribution to environmental conservation through a tree planting activity at the Jalan Menteri Besar Recreational Park.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event saw the participation of Dayang Noralinda binti Haji Ibrahim, Director of Forestry at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The tree planting activity, involving the planting of 70 saplings, was not just an environmental initiative but also an opportunity for the participants to learn about different cultures. Members of the Girl Guides Association were joined by their counterparts from Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Singapore, making it a truly international effort.
