As Muslims, there is an obligation to appreciate the blessing of time and manage it responsibly and wisely. This subject was addressed in the recent Friday Sermon titled ‘Value Time Well and Wisely’. The sermon also shared practical steps for incorporating beneficial practices into daily schedules.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the sermon highlighted several key practices. Firstly, it encouraged increasing religious acts dedicated to Allah SWT sincerely and tirelessly. Secondly, it emphasized the importance of using time to gain knowledge. Thirdly, it underscored fulfilling the demands of fardhu ain, such as praying and fasting. Fourthly, it advocated for allocating time to think and plan for the future. Fifthly, it advised spending time with family members and society. Sixthly, it recommended maximizing time by striving for self-improvement, as well as the betterment of family, society, and the country. Lastly, it urged individuals to appreciate and manage time well and wisely, making the most out of all available opportunities.
