Post: Foxies’ New Recruits Set to Debut in PVL Reinforced Conference

PASIG CITY - The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference is set to witness the debut of Farm Fresh’s new opposite spikers, Maicah Larroza and Pierre Abellana, as the team gears up to enhance their performance from the previous season.

According to Philippines News Agency, despite a challenging 3-8 record in the recent All-Filipino Conference, Farm Fresh displayed promising moments, including a victory over Chery Tiggo Crossovers and competitive sets against the championship team Creamline Cool Smashers and finalists Choco Mucho Flying Titans. The team is optimistic about the upcoming conference, especially with the addition of Larroza, the fourth overall pick from De La Salle, known for her high-leaping ability, and Abellana, a 16th pick from the University of Santo Tomas.

Larroza expressed her enthusiasm about joining Farm Fresh, noting her eagerness to collaborate with the Japanese coach Shota Sato and to integrate into the team’s dynamic. Similarly, Abellana, surprised by her selection due to her absence from training sessions, expressed gratitude for the trust shown in her abilities by the team management. Both players are focused on proving their worth and securing significant playing time among a talented roster that includes Kate Santiago, Chinnie Arroyo, Pia Ildefonso, and Alyssa Bertolano.

Farm Fresh is scheduled to face Chery Tiggo at the Philsports Arena on July 16, marking the start of their campaign in the Reinforced Conference.
