Post: Fourth Flight Departs with Brunei Haj Pilgrims from Jeddah

Jeddah: The fourth flight carrying Brunei’s haj pilgrims has departed from King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah. The departure marks another step in the return journey for citizens who participated in this year’s pilgrimage.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the send-off at the airport was attended by Awang Haji Farhan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Ghani, the Acting Consulate General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah. The event also saw the presence of Pengiran Haji Haslin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, the Acting Assistant Managing Director and Head of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrim Affairs Office in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Doctor Haji Mohammad Abdul Hafidz bin Haji Yakob, the Assistant Head of Haj for Medical, was also present to oversee the departure.

The flight’s departure signifies the coordinated efforts of the Brunei Darussalam Haj Pilgrim Affairs Office and other related officials in ensuring the safe return of pilgrims. The presence of key officials highlights the importance placed on the welfare and management of the haj pilgrimage by the Brunei government.
