Bandar Seri Begawan: Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD, hosted an inaugural forum on 15th January 2025 to discuss and explore how Brunei Darussalam can integrate sustainability into business strategies and operations. The event, which brought together policymakers, business leaders, and other key stakeholders, delved into global best practices and facilitated a dialogue on developing strategies tailored to the specific needs and challenges of Brunei's industries.
According to Radio Television Brunei, present at the forum was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs and Chairman of BIBD and its Group of Companies. BIBD organized the forum in collaboration with the UN Global Compact Network Malaysia and Brunei. It served as a platform for fostering collaboration, exchanging ideas, and developing actionable strategies to contribute to the goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035.
