Kuala Belait: Several areas that were affected by floods following the rain that has hit for the past few days in Kuala Belait and Seria have shown signs of receding, although some areas are still inundated.
According to Radio Television Brunei, a report from the Fire and Rescue Department, Belait District Operations B Branch, indicates that the water level is still overflowing along Jalan Tengah towards the National Housing Scheme, RPN Panaga and several roads including G-18, Brunei Shell Petroleum Fire Station, G-11 to G-9 and Panaga Police Station. Monitoring found several damages on the pedestrian walkway and fallen trees, however the roads affected are passable and there are no closures from any agencies.
