13 participants will represent Brunei Darussalam at the Worldskills ASEAN Singapore 2023 competition. The competition will be held from the 23rd to 25th of July. This morning, a flag handover ceremony was held at the IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus.
The flag was handed over by Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. The delegation was led by Doctor Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli, IBTE Chief Executive Officer as the Director of Technical Education. WorldSkills ASEAN is the largest exhibition of professional and technical skills in the ASEAN region, which aims to further develop the skills of youth. 8 out of the 22 skill areas will be participated. Among them are IT software solution skills for business, restaurant services, CAD, mechanical engineering and Fashion Technology.
