Bandar seri begawan: Various performances enlivened the nightly festive stages in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration. The capital’s festive stage was animated by the Pantaran Sastera DBP: Poetry Song Competition, organised by the Language and Literature Bureau through the Literature and Magazine Division. Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, a Member of the Legislative Council, was present at the event.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Belait District hosted a Bintang Kecil competition and a children’s fashion show, both organised by the district’s Pertiwi Association. These events added to the celebratory atmosphere of the occasion.
In the Tutong District, the festive stage was brought to life by the Gema Nusantara Night performance conducted by the New Pesona Group. Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Assistant Tutong District Officer, was in attendance to witness the lively event.
Meanwhile, the Temburong District featured the Santai Akustik Night, organised by the Bawah Kem Buskerz group. The event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council, and Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer.
