Tutong: Youth is a very valuable asset and a key pillar in determining the direction and progress of the country in the future. The importance of youth in a country lies in the role of the youth themselves as the driving force for national development. This was among the matters shared during a Knowledge Sharing session titled ‘Future Ready Youth’ to enliven the 194th Munajat Night organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in conjunction with the 20th National Youth Day Celebration.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of the Tutong IMPAK Youth Movement. The gathering saw participation from members of the IMPAK Tutong Youth Mobilisation Group, participants of Da’wah Academy 5.0, and the mosque takmir committee. Congregants from Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong Town; Kampung Penabai Mosque, Tutong, as well as several mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide, also joined the event.
The Munajat Night aimed to emphasize the critical role that the youth play in the development and future of the nation. By focusing on knowledge sharing and religious engagement, the Ministry of Religious Affairs seeks to empower the youth to be ready for future challenges and opportunities. This initiative is part of a broader effort to integrate youth into national development strategies, ensuring that they are well-prepared to contribute effectively to the nation’s progress.
