BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, BRUNEI — Brunei is alive with cultural celebrations marking His Majesty's 78th Birthday, featuring various performances and competitions nationwide. In the capital, the Information Department organized a Pentarama performance attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, a Member of the Legislative Council.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the festivities extend across the country. In Tutong District, the 'Gegar Rentap Lima' Battle of the Bands competition was a highlight, with Acting Tutong District Officer, Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri in attendance. Temburong District enjoyed a lively Kugiran Night, while Kuala Belait hosted the 'Bintang Kecil Keputeraan 78' competition for children aged 6 to 12, organized by the Pertiwi Association and PEMBELA.
