Temburong: The Islamic Da'wah Centre in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam New Converts Association held the Fathul Barakah Project, 7.0 Presentation Ceremony to New Converts in Temburong District in conjunction with the upcoming month of Ramadhan. The project aims to provide opportunity for the public to give charity in the form of basic food to Asnaf Mualaf in need. The event took place at the Multipurpose Hall, National Service Program, PKBN, Kampung Batu Apoi, Temburong District.
According to Radio Television Brunei, present at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council. During the event, 30 new convert families in Temburong District received basic food aid. The project successfully collected more than 640 sets of 'infaq' through a drive-thru initiative conducted in all four districts.
The ceremony also included the presentation of letters for food and drink assistance for the tadarus, breaking of fast, and sunat tarawih prayer programs with new converts at 17 mosques, religious halls, surau, and selected religious activity houses across the country.
