BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism held a series of religious events in celebration of the Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen’s Day 2023, which took place on the afternoon of 1st November at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, Jalan Perdana Menteri.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the function included a Mass Sunat Hajat Prayer, Reading of Surah Yasin and Doa Kesyukuran, followed by the Mass Fardhu Asar Prayer. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, was present at the event. The Farmers, Livestock Breeders and Fishermen’s Day is celebrated annually on the 1st of November to commemorate and recognize the significant contributions of farmers, livestock breeders, and fishermen in their role as the country’s primary food producers.
