Post: Farmers, Breeders, and Fishermen Honored at Appreciation Ceremony.

Bandar Seri Begawan: The efforts and contributions made by farmers, livestock breeders, and fishermen in enhancing the nation's economy and their roles in the agriculture and fisheries sectors were celebrated during an Appreciation Ceremony. This event, held on the night of 5th November, was part of the 14th Farmers, Livestock Breeders, and Fishermen Day. According to Radio Television Brunei, a significant moment at the event was the launch of the 'Brunei Pesticide Free' logo by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. This initiative is part of the ministry's efforts to support and empower initiatives aimed at increasing food security. Additionally, the ceremony included the presentation of the 'Brunei Good Aquaculture Practice' certificate to three aquaculture businesses, and 22 commendations to various industry sectors. Special recognition was also given to 11 associations and companies that have supported the growth of the country's agriculture and fishery industries.
