Post: Fair Weather Expected Across Majority of the Philippines

Manila - The Philippines is set to experience generally fair weather conditions, although certain regions will see cloudy skies and rainshowers due to a shear line and the northeast monsoon. This weather forecast for Sunday includes scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in some parts of the country.

According to Philippines News Agency, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Central Luzon will be affected by a shear line, resulting in cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Aurora, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, and Camarines Norte provinces. These areas might experience scattered light to moderate, and at times, heavy rains. The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, influenced by the northeast monsoon. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to enjoy partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Sunset is anticipated at 5:25 p.m.
