Post: Experience Authentic Culture and Islamic Heritage in Brunei Attracts Indonesian Tourists

Bandar Seri Begawan: Tourism statistics highlight the growing appeal of Brunei Darussalam among Indonesian travellers. In 2024, Brunei welcomed almost twenty six thousand Indonesian tourists by air, a notable increase from 13,600 in 2023.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Tourism Development Department has outlined comprehensive plans for 2025, which include organising more familiarisation trips and using digital marketing strategies to attract more Indonesian visitors.

Recently, 11 travel agents from Balikpapan, Indonesia, visited several places of interest in Brunei. The visits align with the department's strategy to allow the agents to immerse themselves in the country's offerings, gaining deeper insights that will enable them to share authentic experiences with their clients and audiences.
