Bandar Seri Begawan: The Minister of Development has announced an allocation of 4.4 million dollars dedicated to grass cutting and road cleaning works across the country. This initiative aims to maintain road safety by ensuring that roadsides are clear of obstructions and potential hazards.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the allocation will cover periodic grass cutting along roadsides, trimming of tree branches, and the removal of soil that could impact the road surface or drainage systems. This comprehensive approach is expected to enhance the overall safety and functionality of the nation's roadways. Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman highlighted these essential maintenance efforts in a recent discussion.
