Bandar Seri Begawan: The efficacy of the GINIS Programme and the role of Parent Teacher Association, PTA was also shared in response to a query raised by Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, and Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Suyoi bin Haji Osman.

According to Radio Television Brunei, early findings revealed that over 60 per cent of students agreed that the GINIS initiative raised awareness on negative issues, educate the students on noble values, and reduce negative influence that can affect discipline as well as safety as the school. Meanwhile, Parent Teachers Association, PTA groups were active at 81 per cent last year. Yang Berhormat said the Ministry of Education will continue to provide a more effective communication platform for a closer cooperation so that the PTA can continue to support efforts in preventing and addressing bully issues for a safe learning environment.
