Manila - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms across the Philippines due to the easterlies. In its early morning bulletin on Friday, PAGASA warned that severe thunderstorms might trigger flash floods or landslides in vulnerable areas.
According to Philippines News Agency, isolated light rains are also expected over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as 'amihan.'
The weather bureau predicts light to moderate winds and slight to moderate sea conditions throughout the archipelago. Temperature forecasts for various cities include a range of 25°C to 33°C for Metro Manila, 17°C to 25°C in Baguio City, and similar temperature ranges for Laoag City, Legazpi City, Metro Cebu, Puerto Princesa City, and Metro Davao. Residents and visitors are advised to stay updated with the latest weather reports and to take necessary precautions against potential weather-related hazards.
