Early Detection is Important

Family support is a strength for a Cancer ‘Survivor’ in overcoming the challenges when diagnosed with the disease. According to Dayang Norainah binti Haji Jair, by trying to get treatment and with faith and trust in Allah has helped to raise her spirit to persevere in facing it. Apart from that, not giving up is the best choice in continuing life.

According to Dayang Norainah binti Hj Jair, Cancer Survivor Ambassador, in early 2014 after a biopsy procedure, the lump detected was confirmed to be early stage cancer. After discussing with the doctor and family, Dayang Norainah opted for surgery to remove the lump.

By being vigilant and caring about her own health, Dayang Norainah managed to detect her breast cancer at an early stage. With a strong spirit and family support, Dayang Norainah is now carrying out her daily activities at work and acts as an ambassador for cancer patients.
