Post: Driving School Operations Clarified by Minister of Transport and Infocommunications

Bandar Seri Begawan: Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, explained the management of driving schools in response to a query by Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Minister stated that driving schools are typically allowed to operate temporarily for a six-month period. This is contingent upon the availability of driving instructors and is intended to allow students to complete their driving tests.

Furthermore, the Minister highlighted that if there are applications to take over the driving school as an operator, these applications must meet existing conditions. Specifically, applicants are required to undergo and pass the qualification test process to become a driving school operator.
