Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony Marks 51st Birthday of Crown Prince


Doa Kesyukuran: In conjunction with the 51st Birthday of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister’s Office and its Department held a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony and Mass fardhu ‘Asar Prayer. It was held at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque. Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Chief Syar’ie Judge. The ceremony began with the mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin, followed by Doa Khas. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu; and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Ministers at the Prime Minister’s Office.



According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was significant for its solemnity and religious importance. The Ash-Shaliheen Mosque was the chosen venue for this notable occasion, gathering key figures from the Prime Minister’s Office. The participation of Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar added to the event’s prominence.



The ceremony’s agenda included the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, which set a reflective tone for the gathering. This was followed by the Doa Khas, bringing together the attendees in a collective prayer led by religious and government dignitaries. The presence of Deputy Ministers Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah further underscored the event’s importance and the unity within the governmental departments in celebrating the Crown Prince’s birthday. The ceremony highlighted the deep cultural and spiritual traditions upheld by the government and its departments.
