Although 2nd July 2023 was the final day for the Muslim ummah in the country to perform the rites of sacrifice, however various parties continue to organise such ceremonies. The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the departments under it held a rites of sacrifice at Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosque in Kuala Belait.
The distribution of sacrificial meat was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. 4 buffaloes and a goat were sacrificed.
Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei and its subsidiaries organised an Aidiladha celebration. The distribution of sacrificial meat was officiated Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence.
Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque Takmir Committee in Kampung Manggis Madang sacrificed six buffaloes. The distribution of the sacrificial meat was made by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.
Also holding a similar ceremony was the Kampung Kasat Consultative Council, Mosque Takmir Committee and Muslimah. The sacrificial meat was distributed by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Din @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti.
