Tutong: Eleven groups participated in the Dikir Syarafil Anam, Dikir Brunei competition, for Mosque Takmir Committees, Congregants and Muslimah Groups of Tutong District Mosques. Organised by the Tutong District Mosque Affairs Office in collaboration with the Kampung Penanjong Mosque Takmir Committee, the competition was held at Kampung Penanjong Mosque in Tutong District, this morning.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Kampung Penanjong ‘B’ Mosque Takmir Committee and the Muslimah Group of Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong Town won their respective categories. The competition aimed to encourage Mosque Takmir Committees, congregants and Muslimah group members in improving the quality of reading and mastering the different types of dikir.
